Twenty categories of vendor, each one licence-checked, insurance-verified and reference-backed before it is listed — and re-checked every year.

How vetting works

A directory listing is not a recommendation

Most wedding directories will list anyone who pays. We reject about a third of applicants, and we re-check every listed vendor annually — because insurance lapses, staff leave and quality drifts.

  • Business licence and state registration verified
  • Liability insurance confirmed with the carrier, not the vendor
  • Three client references contacted by phone
  • Portfolio checked against real events we can verify
  • Contract terms reviewed for predatory clauses
  • Re-certified annually — no exceptions, no grandfathering

Using the marketplace

Nothing. Browsing, shortlisting and requesting quotes is free, and always will be. Vendors pay for enhanced listings; couples never pay us for access.

No. We take no booking commission and no referral fee — which is exactly why we can tell you when a cheaper vendor is the better choice. Vendors pay a flat listing subscription regardless of how much work they get.

By fit for your brief first — category, city, date availability, capacity and price band — then by review score. Featured and Preferred Partner vendors are labelled as such wherever they appear. We never silently promote paid listings.

Tell us immediately. We mediate, and we have standing relationships that let us source a replacement fast. A vendor who no-shows or breaches contract is removed from the directory permanently.

Only verified clients can review, and we confirm the booking before the review publishes. We do not delete negative reviews, and vendors cannot pay to have them removed. We do remove reviews that name individual staff or contain abuse.
