Every venue in our directory has been walked by a planner. We record ceiling height, power supply, kitchen type, load-in access, noise curfew and the genuine seated capacity — which is almost never the number on the website.

Twelve things to check on every site visit
Most venue regret traces back to a question nobody asked at the viewing. Take this list with you — it is the same one our planners use, and it is free whether you hire us or not.
- What is the genuine seated capacity with a dance floor and a band?
- Is there a noise curfew, and is it enforced by a decibel limiter?
- What time can vendors load in — and when must everything be out?
- Is there a real kitchen, or will catering need a mobile unit?
- What is the rain plan, and how long does the switch take?
- How many power circuits are there, and where?
- Is there step-free access to every space guests use, including restrooms?
- What is the parking situation, and is valet required?
- Are there exclusive vendor requirements or buyout fees?
- What is included — tables, chairs, linen, staff — and what is extra?
- Is there a get-ready suite, and from what time?
- What does the contract say about cancellation and date changes?
